The Oklahoma Sooners fell to the Kansas St. Wildcats at home in a final score of 24-19, and they'll look at their own mistakes as one of the biggest factors for their loss. The Wildcats turned three Sooner turnovers into 17 points, and one of the biggest came on a direct fumble recovery in the end zone off a strip of Landry Jones. See the highlights of the game in the video below.
The Sooners are going to wonder how they let this game slip away in Norman, and there will probably be larger macro issues to identify, but if you want a big play that really gave Kansas State the edge, turnovers made the biggest difference.
As you can see from the touchdown run and the clinching 3rd down conversion, the Wildcats lived on the ground. Kansas State piled on 213 rushing yards to Oklahoma's 88, with Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein keeping it on the crucial conversion and running back John Hubert refusing to go down on his crucial touchdown run. Hubert rushed for 130 yards on 23 carries and picked up a touchdown; Klein managed 79 yards on 17 carries and a score.
