Purdue has named Caleb TerBush as its starting QB for Saturday's game at Notre Dame, despite Robert Marve's solid performance in the Boilermakers' opener.
TerBush started all 13 games for Purdue in 2011, throwing for 1,905 yards and 13 touchdowns. In last season's game vs. Notre Dame, he completed 10 of 15 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing an interception.
Robert Marve started in place of TerBush in the Boilermakers' opener, throwing for 295 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-6 victory. Marve served as TerBush's backup in 2011 after missing the final nine games of 2010 with a knee injury. Marve transferred to Purdue from the University of Miami prior to the 2009 season.
