Great linebackers! Well then, you're all set. Thus Nick Saban retired to the cellar for the morning, his dark work complete until nightfall.
Elsewhere, Hilltoppers coach Willie Taggart attempted to counteract Saban's poor-mouthing attempt by nominating the Tide for the NFC South, but for naught:
"If you ask me, they're going to be the next expansion team in the NFL. They'll be that 33rd team in the NFL. They are loaded. Sometimes you look at those guys and say, 'That's not fair.'"
Later, at his weekly press conference, Taggart said Alabama "might give Green Bay a shot."
