Ohio State Vs. UCF: Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More

Ohio State and UCF are both coming off blowouts, but the Buckeyes are a several-touchdown favorite against what could be a dangerous C-USA squad.

Ohio State and UCF each hung 40-point victories on MAC teams from Ohio in their season openers, but that's just about where the similarities end. (Other than the fact that both will be missing bowl games this year.)

The No. 14 Buckeyes are heavy favorites against George O'Leary's Golden Knights squad, and for good reason. Braxton Miller looked effortless in a 200-yard passing, 161-yard running game against Miami (OH) that earned him some early buzz as an outside candidate for the Heisman.

While UCF looked fine piling on against Akron, putting up 200 yards on the ground and registering four takeaways in a 56-14 victory, all the momentum of their first win will evaporate when they take the field at Ohio Stadium.

Ohio State blog Land-Grant Holy Land analyzed recent drop-off performances for the Buckeyes in second-week games after dominating Week 1 outings while noting Central Florida's penchant for playing upper-echelon teams close. The Golden Knights could make it close, but Ohio State is obviously the heavy favorite.

Game time, TV channel: Noon ET, ESPN2

Point spread: Ohio State favored by 17
