After dominating the Michigan Wolverines 41-14 at Cowboys Stadium last weekend, the Alabama Crimson Tide will host the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in their home opener at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa this Saturday.
Western Kentucky also enters the game at 1-0, as the Hilltoppers won their first season opener in seven years by defeating the Austin Peay Governors -- also in dominating fashion -- 49-10. But Alabama is no Austin Peay and the Hilltoppers are 0-8 all-time against Top 25 opponents.
This won't be the first time these two teams have locked horns on the gridiron. Back in 2008, Alabama crushed Western Kentucky, 41-7.
Of course it's never good to look past an opponent as the Tide will take on their first SEC foe the following weekend when they travel to Fayetteville to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks, but it's a safe bet that Western Kentucky will be little more than a speed bump.
Game time, TV channel: 3:40 p.m. ET, SEC Network and ESPN3
Point spread: Alabama favored by 40
