The No. 6 Florida State Seminoles look to move to 2-0 as they take on the Savannah State Tigers Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, FL. This game was scheduled at the last minute after the West Virginia Mountaineers dropped this game due to moving from the Big East to the Big XII.
In their season opener, the Seminoles easily dispatched the Murray State Racers 69-3 in Tallahassee. Florida State scored at least 14 points in each quarter and went on a 48-0 run to end the game. E.J. Manuel threw for 188 yards and a touchdown while James Wilder Jr. rushed for 106 yards and two scores.
Savannah State lost to Oklahoma State in their season opener 84-0, giving the team its worst loss in school history.
The only real question is how much the Seminoles will win by. Florida State should be able to rest its starters early in the game with ACC games against Wake Forest and Clemson coming up over the next two weeks.
