Carlos Hyde Injury: Ohio State Starter Carted Off

Ohio State starting running back Carlos Hyde left the game with an injury to his right knee late in the second quarter in the Buckeyes' Week 2 game with the Central Florida Knights.

Hyde had seven carries for 27 yards on the day before being shown on the sideline in obvious pain with ice being applied to his knee. Hyde was later shown being carted off to the locker room with a towel over his head.

The Buckeyes were already thin at running back with Jordan Hall recovering from surgery on his foot. Now with Hyde out, the ball carrying duties will be shared by quarterback Braxton Miller and true freshman running back Bri'onte Dunn.

Ohio State has not disclosed if Hyde will be able to return for the second half.
