Edit: He's back!

UCLA Bruins starting quarterback Brett Hundley suffered an injury to what appeared to be his ankle during the third quarter in today's game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The freshman quarterback was attempting to run for a first down with 14:20 left in the third quarter. In his place, the Bruins summoned senior quarterback Richard Brehaut while team trainers examined Hundley.

Fortunately for the Bruins, the injury doesn't appear to be serious as Hundley is on the sidelines getting a feel for his ankle and has his helmet. It appears he will be fine and able to get back into the game.

The potential loss of Hundley could have been a crushing blow for the Bruins this season. The freshman was having a stellar outing in what is his second career start, passing for three touchdowns in the first half alone. The Bruins will now look to finish off the Nebraska Cornhuskers, but first take a huge breath of relief.
