Arkansas Razorbacks cornerback Tevin Mitchel was knocked out by a head-to-head hit with teammate Alonzo Highsmith in the fourth quarter against UL Monroe. He was carted off the field after being surrounded for several very silent moments by both teams.

The sophomore from Texas showed signs of consciousness as he was being taken off the field, moving his mouth and appearing to respond to the trainers at his side. However, it wasn't clear whether he's able to move his arms. At this point, all we can do is hope he's all right.
It was already a terrible day for injuries both serious and non-serious, with Tulane safety Devon Walker suffering a similar hit earlier.
Arkansas players encouraged the crowd to get its emotions back into the game, which the Razorbacks led by only 7 at the time.
