Arkansas Razorbacks quarterback Tyler Wilson is now out of Saturday night's game against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks with a possible concussion.
The school is being very quiet about the injury, but it has told reporters the injury is something "above the shoulders", according to Mocking The Draft.
The website also had the following to say when discussing the possible long-term football ramifications:
If indeed it is a concussion, that will be a serious red flag for Wilson leading up to the NFL Draft. He suffered a concussion early last season. Wilson is a hard-nosed quarterback who doesn't mind taking a hit. If he keeps taking them this season, though, it may negatively impact his NFL Draft stock.
Wilson is perhaps the best player on Arkansas and would be a tremendous loss to a team ranked eighth in the country if he's out for any extended period of time.
The Razorbacks play No. 1 Alabama next weekend.
