Tyler Wilson Injury: Arkansas QB Day-To-Day After Hit To Head

Stay connected with SB Nation

Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson is day-to-day according to his head coach John L. Smith. Wilson spent the night in Little Rock for observation after suffering a blow to the head during the Razorbacks' upset loss to Louisiana Monroe. Smith further indicated that Wilson's prognosis was good but it would be a day-to-day thing at this time.

Wilson sat out the second half of the 24-20 overtime loss after taking several big hits in the first half. He completed 11-20 passes in the first half for 196 yards and two touchdowns and an interception.

Wilson was replaced in the lineup by Brandon Allen who struggled finishing 6-20 for just 85 yards with a touchdown and an interception. The timing of the injury is tough for Smith and the Razorbacks as they get set for next Saturday's home matchup against No. 1 Alabama.
