Sports Network | December 7, 2008

Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - Sam Bradford has Oklahoma headed to the national title game and the Florida Gators should be waiting for the Sooners in Miami.

Bradford threw for 384 yards and two touchdowns as fourth-ranked Oklahoma blew past No. 19 Missouri, 62-21, in the Big 12 Championship game.

Although it's likely to be Oklahoma against Florida in the Bowl Championship Series national title contest, both teams have to wait another day for the voters and computers to officially place the Sooners and Gators against each other.

The final BCS standings will be released Sunday night with the top two teams to play on January 8 at Dolphin Stadium. Alabama entered Saturday unbeaten and No. 1 in the BCS, but lost to the Gators, 31-20, in the SEC Championship game. Florida was No. 4 in the BCS, but is expected to rise above current No. 3 Texas, which was left out of playing for the Big 12 championship when Oklahoma moved up to second in the BCS and was awarded the conference's South Division title in a three-way tiebreaker with the Longhorns and Texas Tech.

The Sooners (12-1) then throttled the Tigers (9-4) for a second straight year in the conference title game, breaking the 60-point barrier in five consecutive games.

Chris Brown rushed 27 times for 122 yards with three scores for Oklahoma, which won the conference title game for a third straight year and sixth overall. Juaquin Iglesias had nine receptions for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Bradford, a likely finalist for the Heisman Trophy, completed 34- of-49 passes.

Chase Daniel connected on 27-of-43 passes for 255 yards with three TDs, but was picked off twice for the Tigers, who lost to the Sooners for a seventh straight time.
