Utah Comes From Behind To Beat Colorado State 24-17
Utah pulls off a huge comeback to beat Colorado State on the road. With the win, they're now 1-0 in Mountain West play. Oh yeah, and links!
Utes come back from 14 down in the second half to down the Rams 24-17!
The Utes enter conference play today against Colorado State. Will the weather play an impact? That and daily links.
Utes and Rams likely to play in snow.
Utah and CSU have a history of playing extremely close games. From 1995 to 2005, Utah was only 2-6 against the Rams (yet held a .5-lead in the average score). Since, though, it has been all Utes at 3-0 and an average score of 37-14. Will that carry over to Saturday? Or will we return to the close games of the past?
What do you expect from Utah between now and the TCU game? This stretch should favor the Utes and set the stage for a possible title showdown in Fort Worth. But that would require Utah beating the teams they should beat. Will they?
The Utes roll into Fort Collins for their conference opener against the Rams. Colorado State's defense is pretty bad, so this should be the perfect game to roll up some nice offensive yards and points. If they don't - we may have a problem.
The Utes enter their first conference game of the season against Colorado State. While not a big game, it is important in terms of setting the tone for the rest of the season.
Links and discussion of my total hatred toward the bye week.
Utah beat Louisville 30-14 to win their 13th straight home game. They also improved to 3-1 on the season and played fairly well for a team coming off a tough loss the week before. Here are Block U's grades of that game.
