I have to admit, I expected a much tighter game against Tulsa last Saturday. I didn’t think it would be the kind of game to be won by a field goal or anything but I did expect the Golden Hurricane to at least score.

Oklahoma got back on track offensively last week against Idaho State but let’s be honest, had they not heads would have rolled. Beating the Bengals soundly wasn’t something that you want to pound your chest over and it certainly didn’t do anything to remove the pessimistic attitude that many fans have towards the OU offense.

Tulsa has one of those offenses, like BYU, that is going to score points. Much like the Sooners this isn’t the same Tulsa team that we saw on the field last season but they’re still really good.
