The Gophers struck first, and even had a lead late into the third quarter, but USC's talent just proved to be too much when it was all said and done. But they covered the spread, if you're into that kind of thing.
After briefly losing the lead in the third quarter, USC scored three straight touchdowns to take control of the game. Allen Bradford had 129 yards on 13 carries, including a 56-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
