Ohio State scraped out a close victory against Toledo last Saturday, even trailing at one point in the second half, creating much consternation amongst Buckeye faithful, who wondered why true freshman quarterback Braxton Miller spent the entire game on the bench, despite significant struggles from redshirt senior Joe Bauserman.

On a day in Ohio Stadium where former Buckeye Mike Doss was inducted into the Ohio State Hall Of Fame, Ohio State escaped an upset at the hands of the Toledo Rockets in a game that reminded one of the close calls of the 2002 campaign.

Toledo's skill and savvy kept them in the ballgame against Ohio State. But their 14 penalties prevented themselves from pulling off the upset.

Contrary to recent media reports, Ohio State football student-athletes Corey Brown, Jordan Hall and Travis Howard are not cleared to compete in the game on Saturday with Toledo.

Toledo has been outscored by OSU 87-0 all-time. They can't possibly pull off the upset, right?
