The Cats struggled at times but came out of Fort Worth alive. Derek takes a look back at just how K-State managed to take one more step on the road to a championship.
While it is easy to give all the credit for their 10-0 start to their Heisman front-runner quarterback, the Kansas State Wildcats should be praised as the most-balanced team in the country.
It wasn't pretty, but K-State posted a 23-10 win over Texas Christian to move to 10-0. With Alabama's loss to Texas A&M today, K-State could very well be the No. 1 team in the country tomorrow.

The TCU Horned Frogs opted to go for two and attempt to win the game on the road rather than let the game play out in a third overtime.

CGP's on K-State: "They go about their business, running the option— if something’s scary out they, they don’t pitch it. They [play] great defense, run the clock, score; [Klein] throws the ball better than last year."
Bill Snyder, while not committing to anything, suggested that Collin Klein will play against TCU. "I certainly hope that is the case and I would expect that to take place," Snyder said.
