Kobena played in all 12 games as a true freshman, mostly on special teams both as a return man and in kick coverage. He returned 45 kick-offs for an average of 22.8 yards/return.
In looking back at the win over the West Virginia Mountaineers, one of the X-factors had to be the Carrier Dome crowd. The Friday Night game brought out 45K+, the largest home crowd in three years, and it showed.
