Jeff Green's heart surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm took place on Monday, January 9th. The second-year Boston Celtics forward will miss the entire 2011-12 season recovering from the ailment and is now an unrestricted free agent.
Jeff Green is out of action for the Boston Celtics due to an unknown medical issue.
Doc Rivers and the Boston Celtics will hold their final 2011-12 training camp practice on Friday in Waltham before opening the season Christmas Day.
