The primary needs remaining on the Browns' draft board at this point are QB and RB, but they could get much better value here by nabbing a falling talent and waiting to address QB/RB at the top of the second round.

At 4:00 PM EST today, a lot of players across the NFL will officially become free agents. The Cleveland Browns still have several key players who they have not been able to reach new contracts with, including RB Peyton Hillis, CB Dimitri Patterson, and S Mike Adams.

The big loss for this week is the fact that starting right tackle Tony Pashos has also been ruled out. Although Pashos has been ridiculed by fans for his play this season, and rightly so at times, he was still a significant step up from his backups on the depth chart.

The reality right now is that the Cleveland Browns do not have an offense that is good enough to beat competent football teams. The offense isn't even good enough to beat some of the league's worst teams, but luckily the defense has played well enough to overcome that problem.
