Can Air Force avoid a 4th year of regression?
That Air Force regressed and barely made a bowl in 2012 was predictable: The Falcons had to replace 16 of 22 starters from 2011. That they have regressed for three straight years now, however, is a concern.

Buffalo, Cleveland, and the New York Jets are all looking to make a move into the back end of the first round. The Bills and Browns are being connected in rumors with Florida State quarterback E.J. Manuel.
No more flyovers for Air Force football games
Air Force could be without their traditional flyovers for at least part of the upcoming season, as are all public flyovers which are being suspended through the end of the fiscal year.

The Rice Owls defeated the Air Force Falcons in the 2012 Armed Forces Bowl and improved to 7-6.

Rice took over in the second half of the Armed Force Bowl and defeated Air Force, 33-14.
Air Force can't stop Rice in the second half
The Air Force Falcons entered the second half with the lead but didn't score again as the Rice Owls' offense exploded and the Falcons couldn't keep up.
