9 days ago, a lanky WR from Alief Elsik won gold at the Texas state track meet in the 110 meter hurdles, posting a time of 13.70 seconds. His name is Ishmael Zamora, and tonight he became Baylor's 9th commit of the 2014 class.

Freshman All-American DE Sam Ukwuachu, originally from the Houston area, has decided to join Phil Bennett's defense in Waco. One year after Baylor welcomed transfer Shawn Oakman from Penn State, the Bears continue to stockpile defensive talent.

OT Patrick Lawrence commits to Baylor
Baylor fans got another bit of welcome news yesterday with the commitment of Waxahachie OT Patrick Lawrence, our first true OT in the 2014 class. He was on campus, liked what he saw, and pulled the trigger for Art Briles and company.
