The Houston Cougars enter a newish league, one with a lot of familiar faces, this year. They do so with a second year head coach coming off a disapointing debut. Houston will have a uique offensive approach for the AAC, but big questions on defense.
Art Briles and his staff kept the recruiting momentum going today in a big way, securing commitments from two more recruits at the camp in Waco, Texas. The first is Houston Lamar DT Ira Lewis, who was previously committed to the Houston Cougars.
The Raiders used their pick to grab a cornerback.
Former five-star wide receiver prospect Marqeith is transferring to Houston. He began his college career with the USC Trojans before off-field issues eventually derailed his career there.
