2013 NFL Draft Cornerback Rankings

One of the break out players in college football this season has been Alabama junior cornerback Dee Milliner. After starting only six games a year ago, Milliner has emerged as the best player in the Crimson Tide secondary. Through four games, Milliner already has nine pass breakups and two interceptions. What Morris Claiborne was to the draft last year, Milliner is this year.

The cornerback class for the 2013 NFL Draft should have plenty of quality depth. North Carolina State's David Amerson has struggled at times this season, but he has elite size and a knack for intercepting the ball. Johnthan Banks of Mississippi State can match up with big receiver and is a sound tackler. Johnny Adams of Michigan State is just as good of a tackler, but gets knocked down some because of his size.

Then there's Tyrann Mathieu. The beleaguered LSU star can't play football this season, but there are indications he could return to the Tigers next season. But the pull of the NFL could be strong for Mathieu. If he goes pro, look for Mathieu to rise back up the rankings during the offseason process.
