The Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars were both stuck on a single win for several weeks. But after Jacksonville's win against the Tennessee Titans, the top pick belongs solely to the Chiefs. However, if a one-win team can control its own destiny, the Chiefs certainly can. Over the next three weeks of the season, the Chiefs play three teams picking in the top six.
Most viewers were probably apathetic toward the Monday Night Football game this week between the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles. It had major implications for NFL Draft aficionados. The Eagles crept even higher and are now slated to pick third in April. The Panthers' win dropped them to sixth. The Browns winning also pushed them down slightly as well.
Because there are five weeks to go in the season, several teams are still jammed up in the middle of the draft order. There are six teams with a record of 4-7, with picks ranging from No. 7 to No. 12. Odds are one or more of those teams is going to be dreadful the rest of the season while another does well.
Here is the current 2013 NFL Draft order. Ties in record are separated by current strength of schedule.
