Updated 2013 NFL Draft order

Al Bello

A week after it looked like the Kansas City Chiefs were locked into the No. 1 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, they only have the pick because of strength of schedule. With games coming up against the Carolina Panthers and Oakland Raiders, the Chiefs could fluctuate more than any team currently slotted to pick in the top 10.

Another team to follow in the top 10 order is the Arizona Cardinals. Losers of eight straight games, could the Cardinals lose out to finish the year with 12 consecutive defeats? With Seattle, Detroit, Chicago and San Francisco, it's certainly possible. If it happens, that could lead to a regime change in Arizona, which means a quarterback is an even stronger possibility in the first round.

San Diego has quietly been creeping up the draft order. Currently slotted in the sixth spot, the Chargers haven't had a top 10 pick since 2004.

A few weeks ago, it looked like the St. Louis Rams would hold two top 10 picks. Now the Rams are scheduled to have picks 15 and 18. With the Redskins on a three-game win streak, the value from the Robert Griffin III trade lessens each week.

Here is the current 2013 NFL Draft order. Ties in record are separated by current strength of schedule.

1. Kansas City Chiefs - 2-10 (.507 SOS)
2. Jacksonville Jaguars - 2-10 (.576 SOS)
