Alabama running back Eddie Lacy and cornerback Dee Milliner are expected to declare for the 2013 NFL Draft, sources tell CBSSports.com, just days after the Crimson Tide won their third BCS national championship in four years. Milliner was projected as a first-round pick in SB Nation's latest mock draft.
Lacy won't be far behind, now that it appears the he is going pro. He dealt with injuries throughout his career with the Crimson Tide, but appeared to be full healthy Monday when he ran through and spun around Notre Dame defenders in the National Championship game. Lacy finished with 140 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries, earning offensive MVP honors. The 6'0, 220-pounder is ranked No. 2 on Dan Kadar's list of the top running backs in the 2013 draft class.
Milliner is ranked as Kadar's top cornerback, and for good reason. He was a shutdown defender for the Crimson Tide last season, recording 18 pass deflections and two interceptions. At 6'1, 199 pounds, Milliner is a stout tackler. His lack of elite speed could keep him out of the Top 10 in the draft, however.
