Boilermakers and Miners begin their respective pro day workouts for the upcoming NFL Draft.
Friday marks the beginning of pro day workouts for the Purdue Boilermakers and UTEP Miners, as prospects try to make an impression with the 2013 NFL Draft approaching.
One of the Boilermakers participating in pro day workouts is cornerback Josh Johnson, a cover guy and former baseball prospect that could go in the mid-to late-rounds of the draft.
Defensive tackle Kawann Short is Purdue's player likely to have the most scouts watching him, but had to postpone his workout until March 25 as he recovers from a hamstring injury that also kept him out of combine drills. Short is one of this year's top defensive tackles, projected by some to go in the first round.
Linebacker Josh Fely is one of the Miners planning to work out at UTEP's pro day.
