For all the talk about the lack of elite talent in the 2013 NFL Draft, 2014's class should be a breath of fresh air. Teddy Bridgewater, Jadeveon Clowney and Marqise Lee appear to be big time prospects at their respective positions entering their junior seasons.
Teams spent this past weekend at Radio City Music Hall playing it safe with the 2013 draft. No team traded away its first round pick in the 2014 draft, which may hint at what's to come.
In addition to the prospects mentioned above, a handful of potential franchise tackles could be on the board around this time next year. Meanwhile, Tajh Boyd and David Fales give the senior quarterback class a bit of promise entering the 2013 college season.
In the interest of launching the discussion on what appears to be an exciting draft class, here's a way too early 2014 NFL Mock Draft. This version is just the picks. We'll be jumping into analysis on these prospects later this week, so stay tuned for that. The draft order was determined by SB Nation's most recent NFL power rankings with only the Washington Redskins being without a first round pick as the result of the Robert Griffin III trade.
Enjoy the mock, and feel free to post your own in the comments. It's never too early to start talking about the upcoming draft class, so let's get to it.
