Mocking the Draft podcast: Interview with former NFL Scout and College Football predictions

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

What goes into the NFL scouting process? Find out in our interview with former Philadelphia Eagles scout John Middlekauff.

The Mocking the Draft podcast was born this summer, and on the ninth episode, we finally got to preview some actual football games.

But the highlight of Episode 9 was the guest. We were joined by John Middlekauff, a former regional scout for the Philadelphia Eagles. He provided insight into the world of scouting and what goes into the evaluation process for NFL teams. He had plenty of interesting things to say.

To finish the show, we dove into some college football predictions and took your NFL Draft questions. Listen to the full episode below. If you want to have your question answered on the show, leave a comment below or find us on Twitter @MockingtheDraft or @MatthewFairburn.
