Stevan Ridley rumbled in for an eight yard touchdown on the first drive of the 2nd half as the Patriots claim another two possession lead.
The New England Patriots didn't wait long to reassert their dominance over the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round game. On their very first possession in the third quarter, the Patriots marched right down the field and took a 24-13 lead on a Stevan Ridley 8-yard run.
The Texans threatened to make this game interesting at the end of halftime. After falling down 17-3 late in the second quarter, they came to within four points thanks to an Arian Foster score and a 55-yard field goal from Shayne Graham as time expired. However, the defense is still no match for Tom Brady, Wes Welker and pals.
New England has a two possession lead once again, and the offense shows no signs of slowing down, even as Rob Gronkowski (forearm) has been officially ruled out for the game. The Texans need to get some fast yards and points if they want to stay in this game.
