Super Bowl 2013 tickets: Ravens, 49ers tickets are expensive

Jamie Squire

Fans wanting to attend Super Bowl XLVII between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers should be prepared to pay a small fortune.

If you're looking for a ticket to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, you'd better be prepared to pay a hefty price.

For more on the story, visit Niners Nation and Baltimore Beatdown.

According to TiqIQ, the cheapest ticket for Super Bowl XLVII is a cool $1,782 -- and that's for section 628, row 22 -- so you'd better bring your binoculars, or just crane your neck toward the jumbotron. Amazingly, TiqIQ deems this a good deal.

If you'd prefer to sit in the lower tier, then you'll be paying a small fortune. Tickets in the lower section are going for around $5,000 each. Tickets in section 112, row 29 are going for $4,978 each. TiqIQ registers that as a neutral deal, so you wouldn't be getting a bad deal even at that price.

It's unlikely that prices for the Super Bowl will come down, so 49ers and Ravens fans better find a way to scrape up a few thousand dollars just to get in the building -- if they're looking to attend the game in person.
