Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Kansas City Chiefs
When: 1:00 p.m. Sunday, CBS
SB Nation Jaguars: Big Cat Country
SB Nation Chiefs: Arrowhead Pride
Breakdown: This game will come down to, as it always does with the Chiefs, how well Kansas City can run the ball. The Jaguars pass defense is pretty miserable but the Chiefs faced the 32nd ranked Houston pass defense last week and passed it 29 times compared to 38 rushes. The Chiefs' game is to run the ball and that's what they'll do against Jacksonville, who is about average at stopping the rush. For the Jaguars, their QB situation is big question mark right now -- David Garrard and Trent Edwards could be out -- so they're going to want to run it as well. This will be a short, rush-filled game.
Player to Watch: Matt Cassel. OK, I just spent some time saying how this game will be all about rushing the ball. The Chiefs may be able to beat the Jaguars on the rush alone. But they can put the kill shot on Jacksonville with a couple of timely Matt Cassel deep passes, something he doesn't do very often.
Line: No line.
Prediction: I'll take the Chiefs here. They were 4.5 point favorites before it came out that Jacksonville may have to go with their third QB. The Chiefs should be able to take care of business on the ground and they've got a top 10 run defense facing Maurice Jones-Drew and co.
