VIDEO: James Harrison's Questionable Helmet-To-Helmet Hit On Drew Brees

The SteelersJames Harrison was fined $75000 for this hit on Cleveland wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi two weeks ago as part of the league-wide crackdown on helmet-to-helmet hits. Looks like Harrison’s wallet will be getting even lighter this week following his hit on Drew Brees in the Saints’ 20-10 win over the Steelers Sunday night.

Harrison received a personal foul call on the play. Considering how closely he’s being watched by the league, expect further punishment to be handed down in the next day or so.

New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) – Drew Brees threw a pair of touchdown passes in the fourth quarter, including an eight-yard score to Lance Moore with 2:37 remaining, as the New Orleans Saints took down the Pittsburgh Steelers, 20-10, in a clash between the past two Super Bowl winners from the Superdome.

Brees completed 34-of-44 passes for 305 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception for the Saints (5-3), who bounced back from a 30-17 loss to the Browns last weekend.

Ben Roethlisberger connected on 17-of-28 passes for 195 yards and an interception for the Steelers (5-2), who had won two in a row.

Rashard Mendenhall carried the ball 15 times for 71 yards and a touchdown.

Steelers Vs. Saints: Superdome Breaks Costume Record, So That's Something Interesting

The battle between the two squads might be boring on field (6-3 Saints in beginning of 4th quarter) but in the stands, its a festive Halloween delight.

The Guinness Book of World Records confirmed that the Saints set a new record for the world’s largest Halloween gathering in the stands. According to the team, 17,777 fans (in a crowd or 70,011) showed up wearing costumes.

I assume that doesn’t include the guys wearing football uniforms.

Steelers Vs. Saints: Steelers' Goal-Line Defense Holds Saints To Field Goal, New Orleans Leads 6-3

As they took the ball in the 2nd half, the Saints ran eight plays from within the ten-yard line, including two plays from the one. They would end up settling for a field goal to take the leads 6-3 with 8:45 left in the third.

The storyline of the game is now clear. The Saints will bend the Steeler defense to the brink. But Pittsburgh will not break. And if the Saints want to put this game away, they’re going to have to find a way to do it.
