Saints Vs. Cowboys; Reggie Bush Stops Saints From Responding To Miles Austin Touchdown

It's been a rough return game so far for Reggie Bush. The Saints running back had a pass clang off his helmet in the first half and his other contributions have been pedestrian - one carry for one yard and one reception for 12 yards.

But Bush made a costly error in the third quarter when New Orleans had the ball in the red zone. Trying to respond with a touchdown of their own after Miles Austin drew the Cowboys within seven points of a tie with a 60-yard touchdown run on a reverse, Bush dropped a third down pass inside the Dallas' 10. Had Bush caught the pass over the middle, there was a very good chance he would have scored to push the Saints lead back to 14 points.

New Orleans instead had to settle for a 28-yard field goal from Garrett Hartley, his third of the game.
