Brad Smith is killing the Cincinnati Bengals. The New York Jets all-everything man took a reverse to the house earlier in the game, giving the Jets a 10-3 lead. After a Cincinnati field goal in the fourth quarter, Smith was back deep to take the kick. And take it he did.
A 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown is special enough on its own, but watch closely as Smith cuts it back around his own 40. That's his shoe getting left behind as he takes off with one man to beat. With a missing wheel, Smith still manages to throw a juke as he makes the last guy miss while racing to the end zone, giving the Jets a 24-10 lead.↵
Smith has been the difference in the game for the Jets. His 23 yards receiving, 55 yards rushing -- all on the early third quarter touchdown -- and the 90 yard kickoff return for a touchdown gave the Jets all the spark they've needed against the Bengals.
