NFL Week 15, Giants Vs. Eagles: Giants Pile It On, Increase Lead To 24-3

Stay connected with SB Nation

It's been a tale of two teams for the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles, as the Giants lead the Eagles 24-3 heading into the third quarter.

Eli Manning and the Giants offense added to the Giants lead, putting up another 10 points in the second quarter. Manning and wide receiver Hakeem Nicks connected for a touchdown, after a fumble in the last 30 seconds of the second quarter by Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin. Manning has already thrown for three touchdowns, with one interception, and 188 yards.

The Eagles offense and defense have had their troubles versus the Giants. Offensively the Eagles have managed little, only scoring three points on a David Akers field goal in the first quarter. Quarterback Michael Vick has an interception and not much else. Runnning back LeSean McCoy has been the one offensive highlight for the Eagles, rushing for 30 yards on 5 carries.

Giants head into the third quarter leading 24-3.
