VIDEO: Lance Moore Makes Catch Of The Year Candidate Off Tipped Ball

"That's why they run the tip drill" sounds like the sort of hoary announcing cliche that should be reserved (relegated?) for Chris Berman's exclusive use. But, well, Lance Moore's fantastic catch for the Saints is proof that the tip drill is probably not a bad thing for NFL teams to work on.

Moore catches that touchdown pass after not one, but two tips, and also manages to get both of his feet down in bounds. That's a marvelous play, and a significant one: it was a game-tying touchdown for the Saints, who knotted up their game against the Ravens at 24-24 after the extra point.

Of course, the Ravens have already done the "give up lead on ridiculous fourth quarter touchdown catch" routine this week. And Andre Johnson's brilliant catch last Monday night didn't lead the Texans to the win.
