The Green Bay Packers running game has left QB Aaron Rodgers without much support this season, but FB John Kuhn just turned in a great effort on an eight-yard charge up the middle to give Green Bay a 21-14 lead. Kuhn’s knee hit turf very near the goal line — replays were inconclusive, but Kuhn jumped up and signaled the sideline to hurry up and send on the field goal team before the Giants could challenge.
The Packers actually have far more rushing yards than the Giants do, believe it or not. Four different Packers runners have 15 or more yards on the ground, while New York’s running game has only produced 17 total.
The Giants get the ball back with under two minutes to go, and they’re actually starting to run the ball more effectively with Green Bay’s defense playing loose. A pair of draws to Ahmad Bradshaw have both produced decent yardage, but there’s not enough time on the clock to run draws all the way down the field.
