On paper, this game was supposed to be a shootout. However, it did not turn out as such.
Cowboys dominated the entire game, with Houston’s only TD coming late when Dallas was playing prevent defense.
While Dallas only out-yarded Houston 385-340, their red zone defense came up strong when called upon. Dallas was 2/2 in red zone, while Houston was only 1/3. That was the difference in this game.
QB Tony Romo was 23/30 with 284 yards and two TDs to boot.
