NFL Week 3: Jets Vs. Dolphins: New York Gets 10-Play Opening Drive To Get First Score

Stay connected with SB Nation

Mark Sanchez hit tight end Dustin Keller on a sideline route at the goal line for a 24-yard touchdown pass to end a 10-play, 72-yard opening drive to give the Jets a 7-0 lead to open the Sunday night game in Miami.

The Dolphins offense hasn't yet quite found its stride. Chad Henne is 2/6 for 23 yards, while the duo of Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown can account for one carry for two yards each. Former Dolphins star Jason Taylor made an impact early for a Jets team he once spoke ill of by registering a sack on Henne.

Keller has been the star in early action, hauling in four passes for 79 yards and a score in the first quarter alone.
