Hue Jackson Will Call Plays For Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders officially announced the arrival of new head coach Hue Jackson with a Tuesday afternoon press conference that included owner Al Davis. As he always is, Davis was very entertaining. He was excited about the future of Jason Campbell and mentioned names like John Elway, Steve Young and Jim Plunkett when talking about him.

No pressure, huh? Jackson will be the one responsible for Campbell's development and he confirmed that he would be the primary play caller for the team. We're not sure what that means as far as Jackson replacing himself, the offensive coordinator.

One reporter mentioned Al Saunders name as a possible offensive coordinator candidate and Jackson said he would like to talk to him and other candidates.

Both Davis and Jackson clearly expect to win immediately. Jackson said they'd be winning the AFC West in 2011 and Davis spent a few minutes talking about the weapons on offense.
