The Pittsburgh Steelers issued their first injury/practice report of Super Bowl week and a couple of big names are included on the list. There's not a whole lot we can tell from this list because the game is still 11 days away but here's who practice and who didn't for the Steelers on Wednesday.
Did not practice: S Will Allen (knee), CB Bryant McFadden (abdomen), S Troy Polamalu (achilles), C Maurkice Pouncey (ankle), WR Emmanuel Sanders (foot), T Jonathan Scott (ribs)
Limited participation in practice: DE Aaron Smith (triceps)
Pouncey and Smith are a couple of the names to keep an eye on. Pouncey injured his ankle in the AFC Championship game against the New York Jets and, while he said he expected to play shortly after the game, was seen this week in a cast. Smith has been out for two months and was thought to be close to returning last week.
