Chicago Bears defensive end went down with a knee injury earlier in the game. He was worked on by trainers on the sideline and wound up making his way to the locker room. It was reported that Peppers return to the game was questionable, but he's apparently back on the football field and playing.
The Bears are going to need Julius Peppers to aide their pass rush while trying to slow down Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford. When Peppers was out of the game, the Lions torched the Bears with a long 73-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Calvin Johnson. The Bears currently trail the Lions 7-3 and will be looking to stop the Lions with Peppers back on the field.
