NFL Odds And Lines Week 6: Colts Vs. Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals host the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday and will look to hand the Peyton Manning-less team its sixth straight loss to open the season.

The Cincinnati Bengals are on the cusp of creating a three-game winning streak and only the Indianapolis Colts stand in the way of accomplishing that. The Bengals opened as six-point favorites over the Colts, as provided by Odds Shark, but it has moved by as many as two points with other odds makers.

The Bengals have been a mild surprise this season with a 3-2 record. Though they lost quarterback Carson Palmer, the Bengals did find their future quarterback in the draft with Andy Dalton and installed him as the team's starter of the present. He and fellow rookie A.J. Green have hooked up for three touchdowns and 402 yards in the air.

The Colts, though, have shown how badly they've needed Peyton Manning to guide this team. At 0-5, the Colts don't have any clear games ahead of them that they could consider as possible wins. However, two games against the Jacksonville Jaguars and a game against the Carolina Panthers might prove to be their best chances.

But for now, the Colts need Curtis Painter to improve each week. He showed progress in the first half but lost a bit of it in the second half. He finished 15-of-27 for 277 yards and two touchdown passes.
