It's a weird world indeed when the Raiders are overwhelming favorites in a football contest but that's where we stand in Week 6 of the 2011 NFL season. Looking at expert picks, most folks around the Web are predicting a win for Oakland against the Browns.
Cleveland's 25th-ranked run defense is cause for concern in this matchup, going up against the Raiders rushing attack, which is second-best in the league. That could help Oakland put the game on ice if they can jump out to an early lead, like Sports Illustrated's Peter King thinks they could.
The last time these teams met in Oakland, Josh McCown, LaMont Jordan and Ronald Curry were the Raiders' key guys on offense. Uh, they're better now. And they'll be playing with a full house going nuts with a pregame Al Davis tribute.
The consensus holds at ESPN.com, where the experts unanimously picked the Raiders. And no one would stick out their necks for the Browns at CBSSports.com either. Suffice it to say that if Cleveland wins, there will be a lot of surprised people.
