Heath Miller Fantasy Stats: Not Much From Steelers TE

Steelers tight end Heath Miller had a below-average fantasy output on Sunday against the Jaguars. Miller caught 4 catches for 27 yards. It was a slow day in general for the Pittsburgh offense. Quarter Ben Roethlisberger threw one touchdown for the Steelers and Miller didn't catch it.

Miller was averaging 38 receiving yards a game with 190 receiving yards on the season and one touchdown through his first five weeks of the 2011 NFL season. Miller's receiving yards per game is up nearly 2 yards per game.

Miller was ranked by Yahoo! as the 16th ranked wide receiver heading into Week 6 taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars who rank 10th against the pass.

Mike Thomas Fantasy Stats: Not Many Points For Jags WR

Jacksonville wide receiver Mike Thomas had a below-average day fantasy-wise on Sunday. Thomas caught four passes for 36 total receiving yards. He did not score a touchdown.

The Jaguars only managed one touchdown in a 17-13 loss to the Steelers in Week 6 of the 2011 NFL Season.

Thomas was averaging 53 receiving yards a game with 265 receiving yards on the season and three touchdowns through his first five weeks of the 2011 NFL season. Thomas' receiving yards per game is up nearly 2 yards per game.

Thomas was ranked by Yahoo! as the 34th ranked wide receiver heading into Week 6 taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers who rank 1st against the pass.

Maurice Jones-Drew Fantasy Stats: Slow Day For MJD

Maurice Jones-Drew got stuck with 96 yards rushing on Sunday and failed to get in the end zone. Not great stats for fantasy football owners. In general, the Jaguars failed to do much of anything offensively in a 17-13 loss to the Steelers.

For the year, Jones-Drew's production is down, especially in the red zone. Through five games, the Jaguars' back has recorded just two touchdowns while carrying the ball 96 times for 476 yards. The yardage is there, but the scoring hadn't come heading into Sunday's matchup with the Steelers.

Jones-Drew was the 11th-best running back play heading into the week, according to Yahoo!'s fantasy ranking. He hasn't quite been elite, and his touchdowns are down, but Jones-Drew remains a solid fantasy start.

Mike Wallace Fantasy Stats: One TD Catch For Steelers WR

Mike Wallace put up decent fantasy football stats given the Steelers sputtering offense. Ben Roethlisberger threw one touchdown pass and Wallace caught it, to go along with 76 yards receiving on just two catches. Pittsburgh only needed 17 points to beat the Jaguars on Sunday.

Wallace was averaging 107 receiving yards a game with 536 receiving yards on the season and three touchdowns through his first five weeks of the 2011 NFL season. Wallace's receiving yards per game is up nearly 30 yards per game.

Wallace was ranked by Yahoo! as the 7th ranked wide receiver heading into Week 6 taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars who rank 10th against the pass.

Ben Roethlisberger Fantasy Stats: TD And 200 Yards For Steelers QB

Ben Roethlisberger is still suffering behind a below-average offensive line (he was sacked three times Sunday), but he managed a decent fantasy football effort with 200 passing yards and a touchdown against the Jaguars.

Roethlisberger struggled to find any kind of consistency prior to Week 5. Then, in an outburst against the Tennessee Titans, he completed 70 percent of his passes and found the end zone five times compared to just one interception. Still, even with the stat-padding Roethlisberger's numbers are still relatively disappointing this season. Prior to last week's win, Roethlisberger had just three touchdown passes to five interceptions.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Roethlisberger would probably be a borderline starter in most leagues, coming in 10th in their fantasy rankings. How much stock you put in one great outing compared to the four prior mediocre performances is up to you.
