VIDEO: Aaron Rodgers' 31-Yard TD To James Jones

Stay connected with SB Nation

After being limited to a field goal on the first drive, it did not take Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers long to realize that they were playing the St. Louis Rams. With the pocket collapsing around him, Rodgers rolled out to his left and hit wide receiver James Jones on what looked like a gentle toss up for a 31-yard touchdown, Green Bay’s first of the game.

Check out the video.

That was Rodgers’ first touchdown pass of the day, but it would not be his last. He hit Jordy Nelson on the first play of the next drive for a 93-yard touchdown that once again looked easy.

The Packers lead the Rams by a score of 17-0 in what looks like a glorified scrimmage game.
