Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley has injured his hand against the Philadelphia Eagles. It is unclear how serious the injury is.
Cooley has struggled so far this year after enjoying a career year in 2010. He has just six catches and 66 yards in four games this season. Video of the play in which Cooley was injured is embedded below -- it didn't look serious, so it's possible he may be able to return. Cooley has been dinged up quite often this year -- earlier this week, he had his surgically-repaired knee drained, although he downplayed the procedure to reporters.
Update: Cooley suffered a broken left index finger, according to Grant Paulsen on Twitter.
