Andy Dalton led a balanced attack, and the Bengals' defense sealed their win over the Colts. With the victory, Cincinnati's now 4-2 in 2011.
In what may go down as one of the least-loved games of the 2011 NFL season, Andy Dalton and the Bengals beat Curtis Painter's Colts for a 27-17 victory with balance and defense.
Dalton threw for 264 yards and a touchdown, Cedric Benson ran for 57 yards and touchdown, and the Bengals capitalized on three Colts turnovers for the win. One was a Painter interception, the lowlight of the Purdue product's 188-yard, one-touchdown performance.
The other two were fumbles by veterans Pierre Garcon and Dallas Clark. And for the second straight week, the Bengals sealed a win with a defensive touchdown: Carlos Dunlap took a fumble return to the house in the final three minutes against the Colts to give Cincy its final 10-point margin of victory.
With the win, the Bengals move to 4-2 on the season, while the Colts remain winless at 0-6 with the loss.
